Code: Select all

$$
gives you inline equation, I mean the equation will fit inside a line. Like $\int_0^{\infty} f(x)\ dx=1$, but

Code: Select all

 \[ \]
will give you equation in a new line (and they will be bigger in size, of course) or example:
\[\int_0^{\infty} f(x)\ dx=1\]
