The wire frame at left below consists of three mutually perpendicular segments AD, BD, and
C D, each 3 cm in length. A quarter-circle of radius 3 is attached to each pair of segments as
shown. The curved portions of the wire frame will fit snugly against a sphere of a certain size,
so that the entire lengths of all three quarter circles make contact with the sphere. For what
radius is this possible?
