The Light Absorbing Fact
We know that light can pass through glass, as it dont absorb or reflect it. But light can't do the same in case of hard board or plastic. Because the board absorbes most of the light and reflects some of it. We know that light is a consistent packet of $Photon$. If hard board absorbes the light, then where does these photon go?

Re: The Light Absorbing Fact
Photon is basically energy propagated by electro magnetic fields. Absorbing photon means absorbing that energy. When an atom absorbs photon, the energy usually goes to one of the electrons in the atom and sends the elecctron to a higher energy level.
Re: The Light Absorbing Fact
so, when we're talking about light and photon....the photon acts as a wave not particle.

Re: The Light Absorbing Fact
At fundamental level everything is wave.
