Re: will it come back
Remember gravity doesn't depend on ball's mass, it depends on its place.
If you throw it outside the earth's gravity, then it will not come back. But if there is gravity, then it will.

Rafe wrote:suppose i have a ball having the same mass of the earth.i throw it in the sky.will it come back?

এখানে পারিপার্শ্বিকের কথা চিন্তা করলে বলা যেতে পারে যে, that would be disastrous.

Who is the person able to throw a ball of a mass more than the earth? He can surely throw the earth too.

I didn't understand the meaning of this as what is said by 'Archimedes' is theorytically proved.nafistiham wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2013 1:51 pm

Re: will it come back
It’s not possible to define such a question without some inherent ambiguity in the question. The first ambiguity is “who is that ‘I’ who can throw a ball with mass amounting to the earth’s?” Even if you can clarify that person, he or she will have no time to throw, because the earth and the ball (perhaps together with the thrower) will violently collapse into each other immediately.
