this actually depends on what we define.
if day starts when it is $12.00.00$
then the day Ruponti gets the $24^{th}$ letter will be the $26^{th}$ day
on the other hand
if day starts when it is $12.00.01$
then the day Ruponti gets the $24^{th}$ letter will be the $25^{th}$ day
as far as I know both the logics were granted in the BdMO
but, the logic had to be definite.

যদি রুপন্তি ২৪ ঘন্টা পর পর চিঠিগুলু পেত , তবে প্রথম দিনে যে চিঠি পাঠানো হয় তা রুপন্তি ২য় দিনে পায়। এভাবে ২৫ তম দিনে যে চিঠি পায় তা হত সুব্রতর ২৪ তম চিঠি। কিন্তু রুপন্তি চিঠি গুলু ২৫ ঘন্টা পর পর পায়। তাই ২৫ তম দিনে যে চিঠি পায় তা সুব্রতর ২৩ তম চিঠি।

২৫ তম দিন টা যদি রুপন্তির চিঠি পাওয়া শুরু থেকে ২৫ তম হয়, তবে ২৫ তম দিনে রুপন্তি ১টি চিঠি পাবে। যদি সুব্রত রাত্১২।০০
এ চিঠি পাঠান শুরু করে

This problem has multiple answers and based on their respective grounds, all of them are correct. As far I remember, 3 different answers were accepted in the olympiad.

Ruponti will get 1 letter on the 25th day..
Subrata sends 1 letter in intervals of 24 hours and Ruponti gets in intervals of 25 hours.. that means on the 1st day there is 1 hour of delay for Ruponti getting the letter after Subrata sends. And on the 2nd day the delay will be 2 hours and then 3,4,5,... ...so on.
Now suppose at the 1st day Subrata sent 1 letter at 12am. But Ruponti will get it at 1am. After 24 hour(2nd day) Subrata sent another 1 letter at 12am.. this time Ruponti will get it at 2am.. on the 1st day the delay was 1 hour and on the 2nd day it was 2 hours.. So on the 25th day the delay will be 25hours... That means Ruponti will get the 25th letter on 26th day...but it doesn't say that Ruponti will not get any letter on 25th day.
On 24th day the delay will be 24 hours.. that means if Subrata sends 1 letter on 24th day at 12am, Ruponti will get that on 25th day at 12am.
So Ruponti will get 1 letter(24th letter) on 25th day.
