Use any Two numbers Like 18 and 999. Then 18*999% = 179.82 and 999*18% = 179.82
Like this any two numbers would show you the same answer.

If you use {10 and 999} or {11 and 999} or {12 and 999} or {13 and 999}............. {99 and 999}
or.......... {10 and 998} or {11 and 998}........ {99 and 998}...

Thus you can see How many numbers can really be replaced with x and y.

But I hope that this is not the solution for what the Question is asking for.
Cause the question said, "x is added by y%" and "y is subtracted by x% "
To assure these conditions, the value of x and y can be 33.33333333333... and 100.

x+y% = 33.3 + 100% = 66.66666666........

y-x% = 100 - 33.3% = 100 - 33.3 = 66.6666666.....
