.1 = 1 / 10...why we have used 1 in here for the point and 0 for the number?

it is a ten based number system.when you multiply by ten you get a zero on the right side.when you divide by ten you get a zero on the left side.when there is no point a zero on the left side is valueless.but,when there is, it is not.
\[\sum_{k=0}^{n-1}e^{\frac{2 \pi i k}{n}}=0\]
Using $L^AT_EX$ and following the rules of the forum are very easy but really important, too.Please co-operate.

Make sure what's your right side :)
Please read Forum Guide and Rules before you post.

Use $L^AT_EX$, It makes our work a lot easier!

mahi, aren't you making this more complicated? :lol:

@Dipan,
suppose you have got $x$. now what would be $x \times 10$?
its $10x+0$. this the $0$ i am talking about which will be the একক স্থানীয় অঙ্ক (i don't know the translation :oops: )
