simplify(i.e $a^p + a^q +...$) the term: $(a+ \sqrt{1-a^2})^6 + (a- \sqrt{1-a^2})^6$

I mainly used the fact: $a^{3}+b^{3}=(a+b)(a^{2}-ab+b^{2})$. My calculation can go wrong,I got $2+24a^{2}-24a^{4}$. Is it correct? :?
