1. Registration:
You can find the “Register” button on the top-right of the page. Just click on it, and fill up the form. After that you shall get a confirmation message in your Email inbox. You shall find a link there; to activate your account click on the link. Then log in the forum by clicking “Login” button. Congrats! You are one of us.
Now read point 2 and write something about yourself in the introductions forum.2. Posting your first topic:
(Before posting your first topic, please read the rules that can be found at the bottom of this message.) Posting message is fairly easy. First, you have to decide in which forum to post. For example if you want to post a problem of previous year’s divisional math Olympiad, just post it on Divisional Math Olympiad forum. If you are not sure about the source of the problem, you can submit it on one of the Mathematics forums or Olympiad Level forum, depending on its difficulty level. Before posting a topic it might be a good idea to post a test topic on the Test Forum. For more info read “more on posting”.
BTW if you want to get notification email when someone posts, you have to check (tick) "Notify me when a reply is posted" from the option when posting. (It is checked by default, so don't change the setting.)
3. Replying topics:
Select a topic, and click on “Post Reply”. Alternately, you can just click on the quick reply button, and post a reply.
Sometimes you may need to quote someone. You can do this by clicking on “quote”. For more info read “more on posting”.4. Using LaTeX:
This is the most interesting feature of this forum. You can write professional looking equations on the topics. For this you need to learn LaTeX. Though learning LaTeX is not simple, you can write basic equations by following the simple rule: write your equation within two dollar signs. If you want the pages to lead at the fastest speed, and want to get the high quality equations, you must install some LaTeX fonts on your PC. For more info we highly recommend you to read “How to use LaTeX”.
Now you can write equations without learning LaTeX code. However, learning LaTeX is fun, and might be useful in your later life. So learn try learning LaTeX seeing the codes.

আমাদের ভূবনে স্বাগতম! আপনি যদি ফোরাম ব্যবহার না করতে বা কিভাবে পোস্ট করতে না জানেন, তাতে কোন সমস্যা নেই। আশা করি আগামী ৫ মিনিটে আপনি কিভাবে এ কাজগুলো করতে হয় তা শিখে যাবেন।
১. নিবন্ধন:
আপনি ফোরামে ঢুকেই উপরের দিকে ডানে “Registration” বাটনটি পাবেন। এটাতে ক্লিক করলে একটি ফরম আসবে; যা সঠিকভাবে পূরণ করলে আপনার দেওয়া ইমেইল ঠিকানায় একটি ইমেইল পৌছে যাবে। সেই ইমেইলে একটি confirmation link থাকবে, যাতে ক্লিক করলে আপনার একাউন্টটি সক্রিয় হবে। এরপর “Login” বাটনে চেপে প্রবেশ করুন। অভিনন্দন! আপনি ফোরামের সদস্য হিসেবে অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়েছেন!
২. আপনার প্রথম টপিকটি পোস্ট করুন:
(পোস্ট করার আগে দয়া করে নিচে লেখা ফোরামের নিয়মাবলী পড়ে নিন।) ফোরামে পোস্ট করা খুবই সহজ। প্রথমে আপনাকে সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে হবে আপনার পোস্টটি কোন ফোরামের জন্য সবচেয়ে বেশি সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ। যেমন-বিভাগীয় গণিত উৎসবের কোন সমস্যা পোস্ট করতে Divisional Math Olympiad ফোরামে পোস্ট করুন। ফোরামে পোস্ট লিখার আগে Test Forum এ পোস্ট করে কিভাবে পোস্ট করতে হয় তা ভালভাবে আয়ত্ব করে নিতে পারেন।
৩. টপিকের জবাব দেওয়া:
টপিকের জবাব দিতে টপিকটির নিচে “Post Reply” বাটনটি চাপুন; তাছাড়া আপনি “Quick Reply” বাটনে চেপে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে জবাব দিতে পারবেন। এ বিষয়ে আরো জানতে “more on posting” পড়তে পারেন।
৪. ল্যাটেক ব্যবহার করা:
এই ফোরামের সবচেয়ে আকর্ষণীয় এবং অভিনব সুবিধা হল ল্যাটেক ব্যবহার করে সমীকরণ লেখার সুবিধা। সহজেই চমৎকার সব সমীকরণ ফোরামে লেখা সম্ভব। এজন্য আপনাকে কিছুটা ল্যাটেক শিখতে হবে। যদিও ল্যাটেক শিখতে কিছুটা সময় লাগতে পারে, তবে ফোরামে কাজ চালিয়ে যাবার জন্য আসলে তেমন কিছুই শিখতে হবে না। স্বাভাবিকভাবে সমীকরণ লিখে তা দুটি ডলার চিহ্ণের মধ্যে বসিয়ে দিলেই চমৎকার সমীকরণ দেখা যাবে। তবে সঠিকভাবে সমীকরণ দেখার জন্য (এবং সাইট দ্রুত লোড হওয়ার জন্য) আপনার কম্পিউটারে কয়েকটি ফন্ট ইনস্টল করলে সবচেয়ে ভাল হয়। এ ব্যাপারে আরো জানতে দেখুন “How to use LaTeX”।
এখন আপনি কোন ল্যাটেক না জেনেও সমীকরণ লিখতে পারবেন! অবশ্য ল্যাটেক আগামীতে বিজ্ঞানের যেকোন ক্ষেত্রে কাজ করতে আপনার কাজে লাগবে। তাই কোডগুলো দেখে ল্যাটেক শেখার চেষ্টা করতে পারেন। আরো জানতে পড়ুন: Writing Equation using LaTeX was never easier!
