Re: Preparation Marathon
Masum Vai what about this !
$a(n)=2+(n-1)+(n-1)(n-2)+[(n-1)(n-2)(n-3)/2]??$
$a(n)=2+(n-1)+(n-1)(n-2)+[(n-1)(n-2)(n-3)/2]??$
$\frac{1}{0}$

Did you use Lagrange's Interpolation formula?Nadim Ul Abrar wrote:Masum Vai what about this !

Re: Preparation Marathon
Here is a practice problem set(actually it was written by me for my friends in my department to learn some basic number theory for programming, so find the problems in the second section):

68 pages! Why shouldn't we use it as a number theory note or handbook for beginners?

@Masum vai,

Masum wrote:You have counted the number of different regions with $n$ lines, not the given $\binom n2$ lines I think and then you set $\binom n2$sm.joty wrote:I have a problem with 7.

Use induction on the numbers of points i.e let there be $n$ points, increase a point and see how many new regions are there.sm.joty wrote:মাসুম ভাই আমি এখনও মাহির সমাধান টা বুঝি নাই।Masum wrote:You have counted the number of different regions with $n$ lines, not the given $\binom n2$ lines I think and then you set $\binom n2$sm.joty wrote:I have a problem with 7.

Masum vai
page 66
103. x, y, z are positive integers such that:
$x^3 + y^3 = z^3$
then $3|xyz$
why we wont use fermat ???
