Divisor Function!

Please someone help me understand the $Divisor function$ and $Sigma function$. The definition in Wiki is just too hard for me to understand. You can also suggest books on this topic.

Read 104 number theory problems. It's first 70 pages are good introduction to number theory for the beginners.

I think you meant $\tau (n)$ and $\sigma (n)$.For these Moon's suggestion is appropaite
