Given a stack of $2n+1$ cards, we can perform the following two operations:
$(a)$ Put the first $k$ at the end, for any $k$.
$(b)$ Put the first $n$ in order in the spaces between the other $n+1$.
Prove that we have exactly $2n(2n+1)$ distinct configurations.

\[\sum_{k=0}^{n-1}e^{\frac{2 \pi i k}{n}}=0\]
