Negative Marking

Is there any negative marking for giving wrong answer in divisional olympiads ?

Somebody know??

I have not seen that, so far (9 times).
As, I have answered wrong so many times.

Using $L^AT_EX$ and following the rules of the forum are very easy but really important, too.Please co-operate.

Well, you see. Negative marking is only applied where you can answer without knowing or doing anything, and the examiners have no proof. Like in an objective test, you can answer all 'A's and, mathematically $25%$ should be ok.
But, here, you solve and do it in rough. Totally subjective. So, no logic behind negative marking.

নেগেটিভ মার্কিং আমার জানা মতে হয় না।
ডিভিশনালে দেখা যায় অনেকে অন্যের খাতা থেকে উত্তর দেখে লেখে। কিংবা আন্দাজি একটা সংখ্যাও বসিয়ে দেয়। হয়ে গেলে ভাগ্য খুলে গেল। এদের খাতা নিয়ে কি করা হয় আমার জানা নেই। এদের ক্ষেত্রে মনে হয় (মানে ব্যক্তিগত অভিমত) নেগেটিভ মারকিং করলে খারাপ হবে না। তবে সামগ্রিকভাবে সবার উপর করার দরকার নাই। অনেকে অঙ্ক ঠিক করেও ফলে ভুল করতে পারে। তাই যারা প্রাইজ পাওয়ার যোগ্য, তাদের খাতার রাফগুলো আলাদাভাবে দেখা দরকার।

@Adib. It happens what you said.
Yesterday @MO, in first 20 minutes I solved 2 probs, a logarithm and a problem on number theory. I noticed the student sitting beside me of same category(actually the other student in the middle was absent) copying my two answers. Then I looked at his rough paper. There was only a geo pic. Then I told him that it's not right. He just gave me a smile.

That's the problem here. Cause, no matter what, after trying a lot to prevent these, some people still get in to national without capability or should I say less capability. That is not the main problem. The problem is number of chances is finite. So, for those unworthy people, some inspirations get lost in the fog.
