As I know g=9.8. It is different in different places of the earthl land. But the ideal rate is 9.8 m/s^2

As far as I know, you will be given the value of g if you require it. Can you send the question here where you think you have to use the value of g?
Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

Well if you must use the value of g, state what value you are using.
