4th Dimension
Re: 4th Dimension
There is another post on the same topic in the physics forum, check that out.
Re: 4th Dimension
The post was not so clear. That is why I posted in here.

Re: 4th Dimension
The graph and explanation on the link might help you
http://www.jimloy.com/physics/4d.htm
And this is a unrelated 4th dimntion object>I do understand the explenation of 4th dimention but when I look at a 4th dimentional object by 3d dimentional simulation on 2dimentional screen it looks really freaky(and again it's not related to the 4d time though.......I think)

Re: 4th Dimension
see, if you understand the idea of coordinate system, then it will be pretty clear for u,
for example, if we want to locate a point in a 2-d graph, you take 2 dimensions i.e. length and breadth to pin point the point of event.
similarly, in our normal world, we have 3 spatial dimensions, i.e. three specific numbers which can show our location in the universe, but then again, from any normal mechanical physics equation or if you jus think normally, to define an event precisely you not only need the "space" where it is happening but also the "time",
so to locate an event say 17th feb, 2011's ICC world cup opening ceremony, if u jus give the coordinates of Bongobondhu stadium its not enough, a time is to be given to give the exact idea of the event.
